A/V Hack Night 1

started this salon format where folks get together and work on their a/v projects. right now it’s very small/word of mouth and people work on track production or visuals (touchdesigner, hydra, processing). i do minor facilitation around coaxing people into sharing but other than that it’s pretty informal; a lot of sitting around on one’s laptop. we do a show-and-tell via projector at 9:30p and then people are welcome to hang out and work further on their projects. ...

Kamayan V-Day

A small anti-Valentine’s dinner I hosted for about 15 friends (singles and couples) where I made a Kamayan dinner for them. Sourcing the banana leaves was the hardest part. I made a few things I’ve never made before like vegan sisig. Also I’m not really a big fan of lumpia despite being exposed to it a lot so hunted around for some good lumpia and got a few varieties (honestly, my fav was some Laotian homemade eggrolls from a place on International Blvd). ...
